How do you attach the footmuff to the pushchair?
In this post we will show you how to attach a WERNER CHRIST BABY footmuff to your pushchair.
In three simple steps (shown in the illustration) we explain how you can attach a WERNER CHRIST BABY footmuff to your pushchair. These instructions apply to all footmuff models except the OSLO model. This is simply placed in the carrycot.
A: Remove the canopy
If you cannot remove the canopy, see section ‘VARIATION’ at the end.
B: Put the fabric flap over it
Every footmuff from WERNER CHRIST BABY has a fabric flap (with elastic) at the back of the head which is used to attach it to the pushchair. This is slipped over the adjustable backrest so that the footmuff can no longer slip down.
C: Pull the seat belts through the slits
Depending on the footmuff model and belt system on your pushchair, the safety belts must be pulled through the slots provided. All parts can then be brought together and closed.
Caution: When the child is sitting in the footmuff, the seat belts must always be fastened (the child must be strapped in)!

Step 1
POINT A IN THE ILLUSTRATION
Remove the canopy from the pushchair to allow the footmuff to be folded over it. To do this, open the press studs that connect the canopy to the backrest. (If this is not possible, see the VARIATION section below)
Step 2
POINT B IN THE ILLUSTRATION
Now pull the fabric flap on the back of the footmuff over the backrest (head section) of the pushchair so that the footmuff can no longer slip or slide down.
The canopy can then be reattached. It may be that some of the press studs can no longer be closed as the fabric flap is stretched over the backrest. However, this is not a problem as the function of the canopy is not restricted.
Step 3
POINT C IN THE ILLUSTRATION
FOR MODELS: AROSA, AROSA LUXE, CORTINA, TULAVARIO, WARTH, LADIS
Pull the seat belts through the slots for the 3-point seat belt system (3PBS):
With the 3PBS, the belts that go over the child's shoulders are pulled through the upper slots. The buckle between the child's legs is pulled through the lower vertical slot. All three parts can then be brought together and closed.
Pull the seat belts through the slots for the 5-point belt system (5PBS):
With the 5PBS, depending on where they are located on the pushchair seat, the straps that go around the child's tummy are either pulled through the two small vertical slots or through the horizontal slot in the centre of the footmuff.
Step 3
POINT C IN THE ILLUSTRATION
FOR MODELS: FLIMS UND FLIMS LUXE
The FLIMS and FLIMS LUXE footmuff models have longitudinal slits that run across the entire back of the footmuff. This makes it very easy and quick to attach and detach the footmuff from the pushchair, as the safety straps can be pulled through without having to unthread them.
VARIATION
THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR MODELS: FLIMS AND FLIMS LUXE
If you have a pushchair with a canopy that cannot be removed or is attached with a zip, you cannot put the footmuff over the backrest of the pushchair. In this case, the footmuff is attached to the pushchair using elasticated straps located in the rear seat area of the footmuff. Lift the seat plate of the pushchair (this is usually fastened with Velcro) and then put the elastic bands over it.
