There are many reasons to be proud to own a WERNER CHRIST BABY product: the factory's own tannery and water purification plant, as well as the eucalyptus forest we have planted ourselves as an energy driver for our efficient incineration plant, which enables us to tan in a CO2-neutral way. From the very beginning, we have placed the highest value on the sustainable manufacture of our products.
What all three product lines have in common is our sustainable medical tanning. In our tannery, we only use EU products that are REACH-compliant. In addition to the ecologically unproblematic tanning agent ‘Relugan’, we add a vegetable tanning agent obtained from ‘Tara’, a fruit from Peru. Thanks to our unique tanning method, our sheepskins in all product lines are extremely skin-friendly, easy to wash and therefore ideal for small children and babies.
