The products in our UP LINE are processed using a special type of upcycling. This allows us to ensure that even the smallest piece of sheepskin is processed. This means that the pieces that cannot be processed as a whole are cut into even pieces and sewn together.
The processing of existing material thus reduces the use of raw materials. This elaborate processing results in beautiful and cosy WERNER CHRIST BABY products as part of our UP LINE.
With UP LINE footmuffs, upcycling means the following: while the upper part of the footmuff is made from whole sheepskins, the lower, invisible part is made from sheepskin patchwork, i.e. skins that could not be processed as a whole.
Our specialists go to great lengths to sort the materials very carefully in order to achieve a homogeneous appearance. A lot of manual labour and love goes into our UP LINE. This enables us to process an odourless and absolutely high-quality product.
